Rạch Miễu Bridge is an impressive cable-stayed structure located in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. Spanning the Tiền River, it links Mỹ Tho City with Bến Tre. The construction of the bridge commenced in April 2002 and was completed with its inauguration in January 2009. The entire structure stretches 8,331 meters, including its approach ramps, with the main span measuring 2,868 meters. Notably, Thới Sơn Island lies beneath the center of the bridge. This bridge is significant as it marks the first project designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers utilizing advanced technology.
