Lời giới thiệu: I came to Tân Thọ in the autumn of 2021. It is a small village in Nông Cống district, Thanh Hóa province. The weather was pleasant at that time, although it rained occasionally which was not good for their rice seedlings. My first impression was that I was traveling back in time; the houses and village roads had been around for many decades. Industry had not yet reached this village (TH 2: Post Office of Times Past). The people of the village are very friendly and unreserved, it is quite common to come across elderly people sitting and drinking tea, talking about the weather (TH 3&4: True happiness). The wives went to the market very early, and when I arrived around 9 am, the market was almost over (TH 5: To the late are left the bones). Rice farming is no longer the main source of income, it comes mostly from young people who work in the city. But the fields still provide delicious rice and joy for the people here ( TH 6), as well as a way of preserving their traditions (TH 7).
