Hoi An Ancient Town (Quang Nam) was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1999, famous for its almost intact ancient architecture, lantern streets, Japanese Covered Bridge, assembly halls, and is a living testament to the cultural exchange between Vietnam - China - Japan - the West from the 16th - 17th centuries.
