The Gam Temple and Pagoda Festival, located in Xuan Thanh commune, formerly Yen Thanh district, is held annually in the spring. The festival combines both temple and pagoda rituals, featuring a unique procession from the temple and pagoda below up to the pagoda on Gam mountain, two kilometers away. The festival attracts a large number of people with various cultural and sporting activities, especially the unique drum-beating competition between villages in the district.
