A procession carrying the palanquin to welcome the deity crosses the bridge and the historic Ka Long River in the border region of Mong Cai, as part of the Xa Tac Temple festival. The temple, a National Historical and Cultural Monument, is situated near the border river and is considered a cultural landmark of the country. It currently worships three deities: Xa Tac Dai Vuong (the former tutelary deity of Mong Cai), Hung Nhượng Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang, and Cao Son Dai Vuong (the main deity of Dai Viet culture). In addition, the temple also venerates the ancestors of the families who contributed to the development of this land.
