The procession of people carrying the palanquin to welcome the god across the bridge and the historic Ka Long river on the border land of Mong Cai, is part of the Xa Tac temple festival, the temple is a National historical and cultural relic, the temple is located close to the Border River, considered a cultural milestone of the country, currently worshiping the Three Saints including Xa Tac Dai Vuong (originally the tutelary god of Chau Mong Cai in the past), Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang and Cao Son Dai Vuong (the main god of Dai Viet culture). In addition, the temple also worships the ancestors of the families who have contributed to reclaiming this land.
