The procession of people carrying the palanquin to welcome the god across the bridge and the historic Ka Long River on the border land of Mong Cai, is part of the Xa Tac Temple Festival, the temple is a National Historical and Cultural Relic, the temple is located next to the Border River, considered a cultural milestone of the country, currently worshiping the Three Saints including Xa Tac Dai Vuong (who was the ancient Chau Mong Cai tutelary god), Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang and Cao Son Dai Vuong (the main god of Dai Viet culture). In addition, the temple also worships the ancestors of the families who had the merit of reclaiming this land.
