Zeng is a traditional brocade fabric of the Co Tu people, usually woven by handlooms. Zeng patterns have symbolic meanings associated with mountains, forests, rivers, birds, animals, the sun, moon and stars... reflecting the spiritual life and worldview of the Co Tu people. Zeng fabric is often used to sew skirts, shirts, loincloths, scarves, bags; today it is also created into modern costumes and souvenirs. Zeng weaving has been recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage (2017). This is a traditional craft that is not only for daily life but also a source of cultural pride for the Co Tu people in A Luoi.
