From January to June, you'll find hundreds of boats anchored along Mui Ne Front Beach. When the rainy season begins in late June and lasts until December, the boats move to the sheltered waters of Mui Ne Back Beach to protect them from storms. The village truly comes alive early in the morning. From 5 am to 9 am, the sandy shore transforms into a bustling seafood market. Here, local fishermen return with their nightly catch of fresh fish, shrimp, crab, squid, scallops, and more. Both locals and tourists come to witness the spectacle and purchase the day's bounty. It's a fantastic place to observe the lively atmosphere and even try a hand at pulling in nets with the fishermen. The early morning scene, with its natural beauty and vibrant activity, feels like a beautiful watercolor painting on the sea. After 9 am, the market winds down, but the village's energy remains. The focus shifts to prepare the seafood. Fishermen and their families clean, marinate, and then lay out their catch on large drying racks. Made of wooden frames with tight nets, these racks are where the seafood is left to sun-dry. In sunny weather, this process takes two to four days, resulting in naturally preserved seafood that retains the full flavor of the sea. These dried goods make for a delicious and thoughtful souvenir to take home. With its vibrant culture and breathtaking views, Mui Ne Fishing Village is an unforgettable destination that showcases the heart of Vietnam's coastal life.
