On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, the image of an old lady sitting by Hoan Kiem Lake, holding a bunch of red balloons and bright national flags, her face radiant with a gentle smile, was so warm and touching. In the space filled with red and yellow stars, the old lady was like a part of the vivid memory of Hanoi, recalling the difficult days that have passed to have today. That image is not only a simple joy of making a living, but also a symbol of patriotism, the connection between generations in the common pride of the Fatherland Vietnam.
