When the country is at peace, children grow up amidst laughter and prosperity. They have never witnessed bombs falling, bullets exploding, or tears of separation during war. But with love for their homeland, gratitude and traditional education, they can still “experience war in peacetime” – through historical stories, reenactments, military uniforms, folk games... These activities not only help children understand the glorious past of the nation but also sow the seeds of patriotism, foster pride and gratitude to the previous generations who sacrificed for today's freedom. That is how we – educators – connect the past and the present, so that children understand that: living in peace is a precious privilege, and the responsibility to preserve it belongs to all generations, including the young green shoots of today.
