The afternoon falls on Ba Dong beach, the late afternoon sunlight spreads a thin layer of honey on the waves and the fine sand. Offshore, giant wind turbines rotate slowly, drawing quiet arcs against the deep blue sky. A small boat lies tilted on the shore, its anchor rope crossed on the sand like the soft strokes of a watercolor painting. Everything blends into a symphony of wind, sun and sea, both open and gentle, reminiscent of the slow pace of life and warm human affection of the Western sea.
