A Lưới District is one of 74 impoverished districts nationwide for the 2021-2025 period, and also one of 22 impoverished districts nationwide prioritized for investment and support to escape poverty and extreme hardship during the 2022-2025 period, according to decisions of the Prime Minister. Thanks to government support and the determination of the people to overcome poverty, life in the highlands of A Lưới has been transformed. The photo shows ethnic minority children in A Ngo commune, A Lưới district, playing happily together on a summer afternoon, exuding peace and happiness in the highlands of A Lưới.
