This is a photo of an old H'mong man in Mu Cang Chai, whom I met while he was walking in the Sang Nhu terraced fields. His bright, hospitable smile, along with his misshapen teeth and only a few real teeth left, created a vivid image, along with the wrinkles that are typical of ethnic elders who have worked hard all their lives.
