Traditional Cham pottery – a craft that has been associated with the Cham people for generations. From rustic clay, through meticulous kneading, each vase and jar is not only an object but also a cultural symbol, the voice of a people living in harmony with nature. Without using a modern turntable, Cham pottery is shaped by hand, fired with straw, with rustic, simple colors and rich indigenous character. Each product is a work containing the soul of the person who made it, crystallized from earth – water – fire – and the heart of the artisan. The photo is a tribute not only to the woman in the frame, but also to a cultural heritage that is being preserved by the perseverance, endurance and deep pride of the Cham community in the sunny and windy Central region.
