Traditional Cham pottery – a craft that has been associated with the Cham people for generations. From simple clay, through meticulous kneading, each vase and jar is born not only as an object but also as a cultural symbol, the voice of a people living in harmony with nature. Without using a modern turntable, Cham pottery is shaped by hand, fired with straw, with rustic, simple colors and rich indigenous character. Each product is a work containing the soul of the person who made it, crystallized from earth – water – fire – and the heart of the artisan. The photo is a tribute not only to the woman in the frame, but also to a cultural heritage that is being preserved by the perseverance, endurance and deep pride of the Cham community in the sunny and windy Central region.
