The military training program took place from August 8-15, 2024, at the 320th Infantry Regiment (Ward 11, Cao Lanh City) with 126 students from junior and senior high schools in Dong Thap province and the provinces of Vinh Long and An Giang. Participating in the program, students gain practical experience in a military environment, such as developing combat skills, self-discovery, self-protection, and self-care. Simultaneously, they cultivate love for their family, homeland, and country. Carrying on their backs during an 8-day military training semester—a period that is neither too long nor too short—is enough to create changes. The experiences in the military environment will help them reap valuable life lessons, form good habits, and equip them with the confidence to continue striving in their studies and training, becoming good children and excellent students, contributing to building a generation of compassionate, dynamic, and creative youth in the land of the lotus, building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland, worthy of being called the good grandchildren of Uncle Ho.
