The Con Temple Festival is held annually in early spring. During the festival, there are many folk activities that attract attendees such as chess playing, bird competitions, boat racing, etc. But the most unique performance that cannot be found anywhere else is the Vomit Running and Palanquin Throwing after the fishing ceremony, performed right on the beach. The palanquin will be run and thrown many times by strong young men on the way back to the main temple.
