In the fields after the harvest, piles of golden straw are piled high. Farmers, both men and women, diligently carry heavy loads of straw on their shoulders. Their bare feet leave marks on the dry, hard field, their shoulders are soaked with sweat, but their figures are still strong and flexible. Each load of straw is carried in a long line, brought to the drying yard or piled into large piles. In the dry sunshine at the end of the season, amidst the pungent smell of new straw, bright smiles still appear on sunburned faces, making the hard work become filled with joy.
