Bac Lieu – the peaceful land of the South, where I had the opportunity to set foot and left unforgettable impressions. Not only famous for the story of “the prince of Bac Lieu”, this land is also associated with Southern amateur music – an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, and the name of musician Cao Van Lau – author of the famous Da Co Hoai Lang song. “Happy Vietnam” in my mind is when the homeland both preserves its traditional cultural identity and thrives with the pace of modern development. And Bac Lieu is a living proof of that.
