This photo was taken on the dress rehearsal day, August 30th, at Trang Tien, Hanoi. I chose this intersection because there's a building displaying a very large picture of Uncle Ho. As the soldiers marched through the intersection, the song "Uncle Ho marched with us" echoed in my mind. Uncle Ho was there, witnessing everything and sharing in our joy on this momentous day for the nation.
