The characteristic sounds from these instruments resound in religious ceremonies, the Po Nagar Tower Festival - Nha Trang, Kate or Rija, expressing the sacred connection between humans and gods. The saranai flute with its high-pitched, long-lasting tone not only contributes to creating a unique musical identity but also carries profound spiritual value. Today, Cham artisans still diligently pass on and perform these ancient melodies, both preserving the heritage of their ancestors and inspiring the younger generation. Preserving and promoting Cham musical instruments is not only to preserve the culture of ethnic minorities, but also to enrich the diverse cultural treasure of Vietnam.
