On the morning of October 20, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Workers Support Center organized the "Mass Wedding Ceremony" program in 2023 for 82 couples. The couples participating in the wedding ceremony are cadres, employees, teachers, demobilized soldiers, young workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances who are working in industrial parks, agencies, units, and unions in the city and neighboring provinces. Coming to the program, Mr. Bui Thanh Thuan (born in 1984) and Ms. Nguyen Thi La (born in 1987) could not hide their happiness. Mr. Thuan and Ms. La are both disabled people, working as lottery ticket vendors in Binh Duong. With the same difficult circumstances, they have been together for 10 years and have never had a wedding. "This is the first time I have had makeup and worn an ao dai. For the past 10 years, my husband and I have always dreamed of a wedding but have not had the conditions to do so. My husband and I are very happy," Ms. La confided.
