The Red Brick and Ceramic Festival – Green Economy is a unique cultural and tourism event of Vinh Long province, organized to promote the image of the traditional brick and ceramic craft village of Mang Thit – known as the “red kingdom” because of thousands of brick kilns stretching along the river. The festival not only honors the hard work and creativity of local people but also spreads the message of economic development associated with preserving cultural heritage and protecting the environment. Through exhibitions, craft demonstrations, seminars and cultural exchanges, the Festival has contributed to promoting the image of Vinh Long red brick and ceramic far and wide, becoming the pride of local people and an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
