The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, also known as the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, is the resting place of President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader of the Vietnamese nation. Located in Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, it was the site where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Construction began on September 2, 1973, and the mausoleum was inaugurated on August 29, 1975. It is not only a historical architectural work but also a sacred symbol, expressing the profound love and gratitude of the entire Party and people towards President Ho Chi Minh.
