Mount Ba Den is an extinct volcano located mostly in Binh Minh ward, Tay Ninh province, Vietnam. At 986 meters high, it is currently the highest mountain in Southern Vietnam, known as the "First Heavenly Mountain". According to the Gia Dinh Thanh Thong Chi (Chronicle of Gia Dinh), the original name of Mount Ba Den was Ba Dinh.
