The Dong Hoa Fishing Festival in Xuan Vien commune (now Tien Dien commune), Ha Tinh province, is held annually after the harvest season. Having existed for approximately 300 years, the Dong Hoa Fishing Festival is considered one of the unique traditional festivals deeply rooted in the local folk culture; it promotes agriculture and fishing while strengthening solidarity and community bonds among villagers.
