The joy of an elderly woman as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gather together in joyful days at the end of the year. Everyone grows old, and everyone will have to face losses and loneliness in life. Children and grandchildren grow up and fly away like birds, leaving behind their grandmother and her simple meals, without elaborate dishes or fancy menus. During Tet (Lunar New Year), I brought my great-grandchildren to visit Grandma. The children happily gathered around her, so joyful. After a long time away from home, I slept with Grandma for a few chilly spring nights, and suddenly felt so much love for her, Grandma!
