Rach Mieu 2 Bridge is located about 3.8 km upstream of the current Rach Mieu Bridge on the Tien River. Rach Mieu 2 Bridge and the approach road have a total length of 17.6 km, starting from Dong Tam intersection (the intersection between National Highway 1 and Provincial Road 870 and Provincial Road 878) following Provincial Road 870 then crossing the Tien River and ending at National Highway 60, the approach road to Ham Luong Bridge.
