The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge is located approximately 3.8 km upstream from the current Rach Mieu Bridge on the Tien River. The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge and its approach roads have a total length of 17.6 km, starting from the Dong Tam intersection (where National Highway 1 intersects with Provincial Roads 870 and 878), following Provincial Road 870, crossing the Tien River, and ending at National Highway 60, the approach road to the Ham Luong Bridge.
