Photo of Nghiem Quan ritual is an important ritual in Gia village festival, Duong Lieu commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi. This ritual recreates the battle of General Ly Phuc Man (or Ly Phung Man) when he helped King Ly Nam De fight the Liang invaders, establishing Van Xuan country. Nghiem Quan describes the image of the army moving in a spiral, breaking the siege, showing the martial spirit and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people.
