The photo was taken on the day of handing over new houses to people who lost their homes due to natural disasters in Muong Pon commune, Dien Bien province. For more than a month, soldiers from the Provincial Military Command worked with the people to build new houses to help the people in the disaster-stricken area stabilize their lives as soon as possible. The photo also shows the affection of the child for the soldier, an affection that comes from the heart and love, not something forced.
