The Tien Cong Festival is a national intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam, held in the Ha Nam island region of Quang Ninh province on the 7th day of the first lunar month. It honors the pioneers of this land and celebrates the longevity of the elderly. The festival features many unique activities, most notably the ritual of "carrying the Venerable Elder" to the Tien Cong temple for the ancestral worship ceremony and longevity celebration. This festival has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.
