The Border Guard Command of Dong Thap province organized the oath-taking ceremony for new recruits in 2025. After three months of study and training, 100% of the new recruits possess firm political resolve, understand the position, role, noble ideals, and heroic traditions of the nation and the army in combat. They cultivate a disciplined and orderly lifestyle, actively study and train to improve their physical fitness and demeanor, and are fully equipped with the basic knowledge of a soldier of the Vietnam People's Army. The new recruits are proficient in using the weapons and equipment provided, skilled in technical and tactical movements, regulations, and martial arts; they are self-aware, strictly abide by regulations, discipline, and laws, and are ready to accept and successfully complete assigned tasks.
