Khuoi Ky ancient stone village (Trung Khanh, Cao Bang) is famous for its stone stilt houses, bearing the ancient beauty of the Northeastern mountains and forests. These stone stilt houses date back to around 1594 - 1677, when the Mac dynasty came to Cao Bang to build a citadel for defense, the stone stilt houses were built like "fortresses".
