Ben Tre province is known as the "coconut land" famous throughout the country with the largest and oldest coconut growing area in the country. In addition to products, food and drinks made from coconuts, people in the coconut land also take advantage of other parts of the coconut tree after harvesting all the fruit or when it is old to create household items or beautiful handicraft products. There are many people and many establishments producing handicraft products from coconuts spread throughout Ben Tre, but the oldest and most famous ones concentrated into a craft village are the establishments in Con Phung, Tan Vinh hamlet, Chau Thanh district, Ben Tre province. Con Phung is known as one of the most famous tourist oasis in Ben Tre, it is nestled in the middle of the Tien River, which is alluvial all year round and is sheltered by lush green coconut trees. People can only trade with the mainland in two ways: by boat, by river and by road, a narrow, narrow road connecting to Rach Mieu bridge.
