Can Tho Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge spanning the Hau River, connecting Can Tho City with Vinh Long Province. This was the longest cable-stayed bridge in Southeast Asia when it was inaugurated in 2010, with a total length of more than 15 km (including access roads), the main span is 550 m long. The bridge not only has an important traffic significance, shortening travel time between the Western provinces, but is also a symbol of modernity and development of the Mekong Delta.
