The Can Tho Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge spanning the Hau River, connecting Can Tho City with Vinh Long Province. It was the longest cable-stayed bridge in Southeast Asia when it was inaugurated in 2010, with a total length of over 15 km (including approach roads) and a main span of 550 m. The bridge not only plays a crucial role in transportation, shortening travel time between the provinces of the Mekong Delta, but also symbolizes the modernity and development of the region.
