The Hung Kings worship is one of the unique folk beliefs of the Vietnamese people, to commemorate the merits of building and defending the country of the Hung Kings. This is not only a gratitude to ancestors, but also shows the spirit of solidarity and the morality of "drinking water, remembering its source" of the nation. Every year, on the death anniversary of the Hung Kings on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, people all over the country come together to Hung Temple to offer incense and commemorate, thereby affirming the cultural identity and pride of the Vietnamese people. This belief has been recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
