Tet Nguyen Tieu (or Full Moon Festival) in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City is one of the most unique traditional festivals of the Chinese community in Cho Lon, imbued with cultural identity with religious rituals, art performances and a vibrant festive atmosphere. In 2025 (At Ty), the festival will be held on a large scale from February 10 to 12 (ie January 13-15), implemented by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the People's Committee of District 5, to preserve the national intangible cultural heritage "Social customs and beliefs of Tet Nguyen Tieu of the Chinese people in District 5".
