The Hung Kings worship tradition is one of the unique cultural features, reflecting the Vietnamese people's tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source." The Hung Kings were the first rulers who founded the Van Lang state – the earliest state of the Vietnamese people. For thousands of years, the Vietnamese people have preserved and commemorated the Hung Kings' contributions to nation-building by establishing temples and organizing the Hung Kings Commemoration Day on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month every year. This is not just a custom, but also a symbol that unites the community, awakens national pride, and fosters a sense of preserving Vietnamese cultural identity.
