The worship of Hung Kings is one of the unique cultural features, demonstrating the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking" of the Vietnamese people. The Hung Kings were the first kings who established the Van Lang state - the primitive state of the Vietnamese people. Over thousands of years, our people have preserved and remembered the merits of the Hung Kings in building the country by building temples and organizing the Hung Kings' death anniversary on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month every year. This is not only a custom, but also a symbol of community cohesion, arousing national pride and awareness of preserving Vietnamese cultural identity.
