Under the roof of Hiep Ninh communal house – a National Cultural Heritage site – the traditional space seems to be infused with new life through the skillful hands of young people. Dressed in striking orange costumes, the children meticulously complete each lion head, preparing for the festival season. Surrounding them are the vibrant colors of lions, dragons, and unicorns, symbols of good fortune, happiness, and unity. The photograph not only captures the moment of preparation for the Mid-Autumn Festival or Tet (Lunar New Year), but also serves as vivid evidence of the continuation, preservation, and promotion of national cultural values. Amidst the sacred space of the village communal house, tradition and modernity blend, leaving viewers with a sense of pride and a desire to spread the beauty of Vietnamese culture for generations to come.
