My Thuan 1 Bridge is the first cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam, inaugurated in 2000, located on National Highway 1A connecting Vinh Long and Tien Giang. My Thuan 2 Bridge is a larger, higher, wider cable-stayed bridge, designed and constructed entirely by Vietnamese engineers and workers, opened to traffic at the end of 2023, located on the North-South Expressway in the East, a distance from My Thuan 1 Bridge. The two bridges cross the Tien River, effectively connecting traffic in the Mekong Delta with Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country.
