The traditional boat racing festival is held for one day, on the occasion of National Day, September 2 (Solar calendar). The racing location is the bank of the Perfume River in front of Quoc Hoc School. On the morning of the boat racing festival, thousands of people from the ancient capital and tourists from all over the country arrived very early. Everyone stood along both banks of the Perfume River to observe so as not to miss the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular competitions of the boat teams. After the ceremony, the athletes will head to the starting point to compete in the tournament.
