The modernized tractor, a blend of classic and contemporary design, is a symbol of a bygone golden age, reminding us of the years following Vietnam's opening up and reforms in 1986. The era of reform speaks volumes, as expressed in the song "Growing Up, I Drive a Tractor": "I watch the tractor plow, replacing the buffalo, the furrows are deep, fast, and effortless..." That's how it was.
