"The old tree" of my life To me, my father is always the "tall tree with great shade", who has given me the flame of life and priceless love and belief that cannot be compared. In the heart of every person, "family" is two sacred words, reminding each of us of the place that gave life and breathed into it the most precious things. People often say that a mother is as gentle as a fresh spring, and a father is a sturdy old tree, protecting his children from the storms of life. That tree may not be perfect, but to me, my father is the most wonderful thing I have in this life.
