Over the course of more than 100 years, passed down from generation to generation, up to now, mat weaving has become a traditional profession of Dinh Yen village. In 2013, the village was officially recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. Dinh Yen mat village belongs to Dong Thap province, located right next to the gentle Hau river, now in Dinh Yen commune, Lap Vo district, Dong Thap province.
