Over more than 100 years, passed down from generation to generation, mat weaving has become a traditional craft of Dinh Yen village. In 2013, the village was officially recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage. Dinh Yen mat weaving village is located in Dong Thap province, right next to the peaceful Hau River, now in Dinh Yen commune, Lap Vo district, Dong Thap province.
