Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge is a wooden arch bridge with a tiled roof spanning a canal in Thanh Thuy Chanh village, Thuy Thanh commune, Huong Thuy town, Hue city. This is a wooden bridge classified as rare and has the highest artistic value among ancient bridges in Vietnam.[1][2] The bridge was recognized as a National Cultural Relic by the Ministry of Culture under Decision No. 575QD/VH dated July 14, 1990. At each Hue Festival, Thuy Thanh commune holds a procession of the spirit tablet of Mrs. Tran Thi Dao. This procession is the opening ceremony for the opening day of "Rural Market on Festival Day", one of the cultural and tourism programs within the framework of Hue Festival. During festivals, such as Hue Festival, the poetry night "Ai Ve Cau Ngoi..." with poems composed about the covered bridge and the homeland and the village fair (Countryside market on festival day) is held in the covered bridge area with hometown specialties, popular dishes at affordable prices through village exchange and items from 50 years ago, along with folk games, traditional boat racing.
