Lời giới thiệu: Around 300 households from Long Điền district are involved in salt production. The Long Điền salt fields cover an area of approximately 500 hectares that can produce from 30.000 to 50.000 tons of salt each year. Salt making is frequent in the dry season, especially from March to May. Workers must level the soil field and windmills are used to direct salt water into salt fields. With perfect weather (warm, dry climate - no rain) water will evaporate from 7 up to 15 days.
